About

The NSA was formed in 1959. Monthly meetings are held, except in January, on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30 pm with the gate typically manned for 10 minutes from 7.25 pm. Meetings are informal and interesting. Anyone wishing to attend should contact [insert] for directions.

The NSA publishes a monthly magazine MINTMARK of 8 to 20 pages, with some illustrations via email. Previous publications are for sale (post free) and include: “The Millennium Series ($5 each); “Matthew Boulton” ($6, illustrated) and a catalogue of the works of Anton Teutenberg, a German Auckland-based engraver of the 19th century, which is heavily illustrated ($35).

The NSA has also issued commemorative medals from time to time.

Some members have extensive libraries and are usually willing to lend, and otherwise assist newcomers.
